"When you choose to hold onto life in the face of adversity,
It is harder to battle than to give up the fight.
Know you are choosing to move past the struggle,
But to move past, you must move through.
When the trees hold on in the winter to their bare bones,
They have nothing left but trust, and hope the spring will come.
When you hold onto nothing but your essence, pushing forth past the trauma,
Braving the storm, surviving the winter, it is draining.
You eat away into your very being.
Resilience is painful.
Pushing through is painful.
Choosing to fight takes more strength than to flee.
But no one survived,
And fewer thrived,
Without braving the pain
Of resilience.
No life enters Earth,
Without the pain of resilience.
And no life leaves without releasing the pain,
Coming to peace,
And choosing to surrender,
Our resilience.
It is a choice to hold on,
And a choice to let go,
But just know,
The pain is a part of the process.
And growth, life, and freedom,
Are all birthed from our pain."
Wishing you all the strength, love, and light you need to brave the resilience. Know you have chosen to fight this battle, and you will leave stronger having bared the pain. You've got this.
